We booked the Inventory Session when my mother passed earlier this year. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the team was completely unrushed — they let us take breaks when we needed to. We ended up with a clear folder of everything, sorted in a way anyone in the family could follow.

I attended the Records Workshop with my two adult siblings. It was straightforward and clear — the kind of explanation I'd been looking for for years. Nothing in it was specific to our situation, but it gave all three of us a common language for talking about our parents' records, which was exactly what we needed.

The Family Keeping Membership has been running quietly in the background for about a year now. A new set of templates arrived in April and they'd been updated based on feedback — you can tell the team actually reads what people write. Good value for a family that keeps a lot of records.

My husband and I are both approaching 70 and we wanted to get our papers in order without involving anyone who would try to advise us. Cedarline was exactly right for that. Praewa was kind and patient and the whole session felt manageable, even though we had quite a lot to sort through.

I sent an email enquiry on a Tuesday and had a reply the same afternoon. The person who responded was clear about what the workshop covers and what it doesn't — I appreciated that they didn't oversell it. The workshop itself was about four hours and covered a lot of ground without feeling rushed.

We are an extended family with records held in different places and owned by different members. The session helped us build a single shared inventory that everyone agreed on. It took about three hours. The team was clear throughout about what they were there to help with.

Family Record Stories

The Situation

An elderly couple in Surat Thani had accumulated 30 years of household records across several folders and boxes. Their adult children, who live in Chiang Mai, were uncertain what documents existed or where to find them in a hurry.

What Happened

Cedarline conducted a Gentle Inventory Session at the couple's home. Over three hours, all documents were identified, sorted by category, and recorded in a clear printed inventory. The session paused twice at the couple's request.

The Outcome

A four-page inventory, organised by category, shared with both children. The family reported that the process felt manageable and that the output was immediately useful for a family meeting held the following month.

"We hadn't expected to feel relieved by the end of it, but we did. Everything was in one place for the first time." — Family member, Surat Thani

The Situation

Three adult siblings, all living in different districts around Surat Thani, had very different understandings of how their father's records were typically arranged. One had some knowledge; the other two had none.

What Happened

All three attended the Plain-Language Records Workshop together. The format allowed each to engage at their own level, and the Q&A section addressed several questions that the siblings had individually avoided raising before.

The Outcome

All three left with the same reference handout and a shared vocabulary for discussing their father's records. They subsequently enrolled in the Family Keeping Membership to maintain their preparation over time.

"We'd been putting off this conversation for two years. The workshop gave us a way to start it." — Workshop attendee, Surat Thani
